Composers Concert, Exciting Projects, and Ursa Updates!

Congratulations to my brother Matthew for doing such a wonderful job with my violin piece, Hidden Nebula! The same goes for all my colleagues who had pieces on the program as well, they were wonderful to listen to! I will have a recording of Hidden Nebula up as soon as I can.

In other news I am excited to say that the Lincoln Trio will be premiering a new piano trio of mine titled Surreal Landscape No.3 on April 6 in concert along with other piano trios done by composition students at Roosevelt. It should be a great time! More to come as it develops.

For Ursa Ensemble, we have an upcoming concert March 1 at 7 pm at Grace Episcopal Church in Oak Park where we will be performing works by Bach, Britten, and Brahms! The best part is that the Bach has been orchestrated for our group by myself, Andy Frickle, and Joe Clark. It should be a very interesting set of pieces with a diverse array of colors!

I also have an array of projects with collaborators and friends in the works currently and much of these will come into fruition upon summer time!

Be excited!!
