It’s been awhile since I have updated my blog and I apologize!
I have been very busy with many projects and just recently got back from the Fresh Inc. music festival. It was an amazing time and I am so grateful to have attended, and even more so for those who made it possible for me to attend. I am currently in rehearsals with my vocal group Trio Disquiet and we are getting ready to give a series of concerts over the summer starting in Wisconsin! I will update about this soon.
I have some wonderful news to share about my piece Petite Counterpoint. Not only did it get a fantastic performance by the instrumentalists at Fresh Inc. It also was the winner for the 2014 Kleinman Composition Competition. I want to thank Stacy Garrop for her guidance, and for Fresh Inc giving me the opportunity to write this work!
