Where I am

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted something and figured I would make a quick update. Things have been very hectic as I work towards completing my Master’s degree so I’ve been fully focused on that. I recently just added to my events page my upcoming Master’s Recital, which will feature a world premiere of my Thesis piece Disintegration in Five Parts.

I plan to talk more about this piece as the time approaches, but as of late it has been difficult to keep the updates coming especially at one of the most busiest points in my life! I am so excited to have this piece performed as it is my first large ensemble work that I have felt strongly about, and I am so honored to have Dr. Erica Neidlinger from DePaul University conducting the premiere. Her help has really made the piece start to come together. Along with her, I can’t be thankful enough for the performers who are putting their time into learning this work. It really is something when you know you have friends who are willing to go the extra mile and learn your piece and perform it at a top level. This is really an event that you won’t want to miss!

To finish for now, here is the event page my friend made with MS paint
