The first Ursa blog has gone up on our website! If you have a moment go check it out. We were prompted to write about the time music had made us cry. I wrote a post and will be putting it up on my website as well! This also marks the first blog post I’ve ever written since I’m not crazy about them to begin with. In other news, I am finishing up a piece for the group Lakeshore Rush, which will be performed a little later this year! Titled Isolated Houses, it depicts three miniature settings of single homes in different environments. The best part about this project was that I got to use the “toy” instrumentation of their ensemble while writing it! Get ready for little instruments in a Pierrot + percussion fashion soon =)
