I recently had two premieres of pieces, one being Restructured Possibilities played at the Nichols Tower during Open House Chicago, and then Isolated Houses performed by Lakeshore Rush at the New Music school of Chicago downtown. It has been a wonderful past few weeks of new music and am happy to announce that I have another ONE MORE premiere coming up!
On November 2, Opera on Tap will be doing a concert of new music which will include my new set of songs titled The Fog Never Rose based on poetry by Carl Sandburg. These songs focus on settings of ships floating slowly through a harbor of fog. Show starts at 8 p.m. at Pub 626 in Rogers Park. Come by if you can! It will be a blast.
I’ll update more soon, as I am exhausted and don’t now why I’m writing these things now at 1 a.m.
