I just updated my events page, which includes 4 new premieres of works I’ve written this year! The first one is this Friday at my friend Aditya Gandhi’s graduate recital. He will be premiering Landscape (Grey) for 2 guitars and one player. The work has been a close collaboration with him as we worked with notated and improvised gestures throughout in an effort to portray abstractly the idea of the monsoon season in India. A simple idea, but it was a very rewarding and big learning experience. Come check it out! Event info can be found below:

Other upcoming premieres include Canzonet for voice and violin, Contrast (#6) for piano, and TV SQUeCNe for violin, tenor saxophone, and radio. It’s going to be an insane couple months!
I have another Rocking Chair series event upcoming as well on May 6, which will include 6 new premieres of piano pieces featuring composers from the Chicago area. Very excited to continue presenting and playing new works. I guarantee it will be a weird and eclectic time.
