Just a few updates/ works in progress/ actually have a concert?!
-IPT Ensemble member Ben Zisook will be performing my solo bass trombone piece Living Room on Sept. 24 at 7 pm! Check out my events page for more details.
-Recently completed a new woodwind trio, and am writing a spooky halloween song for my friend Becca Tobin. I am going to begin working on a new piece for Suzanne and I to perform as part of an Advent Project in December, and also will be composing a new piece for Kyle Flens on Marimba, which I’m super excited for!
-In October I will be presenting a large chunk of my upcoming solo piano album Pieces I Wrote on a Cold, Winter Night at the ACM Thirsty Ears Festival and Walking Tour (10/10/20, 4 pm). Very excited to have the opportunity to present this work in progress, check my events page for more information!
-I also composed a piece for the same festival as part of their walking tour! I wrote a 1 minute track for Giddings Plaza in Lincoln Square. You will be able to hear this and many other works by wonderful composers on an app that is due to come out in a couple weeks!
