I am back from Italy and gearing up for the year to come! It has been an incredible summer and met so many wonderful people along the way. Here’s what’s coming up and what to keep an eye out for:
- I am thrilled to announce that I will be returning back to SPACE (Evanston) to premiere and release my next full length solo piano album The Cottage at the End of the Forest. Written while in residence at Avaloch Farms, it is a narrative driven album of a lone traveler exploring a forest in the season of summer. My friend Craig Davis Pinson’s Chamber Band will be opening for me at the beginning of the night and can’t think of a better group of people to celebrate this album with! - Kyle Flens and I (Flannau Duo) are very excited to announce that we have been awarded a DCASE grant from the city of Chicago to help fund our season as well as commission composers to write pieces for our group. Keep an eye out for our concert announcements and artists collaborations!
